A friend of mine gave me an idea, to share some of the recipes I use & their nutritional value with all of you. I find many of them on pintrest and even get ideas form the FB posts of other VSG'rs - I will try to always credit the "creator" of the meal especially if I use their photo. Since I often have to modify the recipe for my needs I will tell you how I do that too. Avocado ChickenI found this on pintrest, pinned from skinnymom.com, This is a photo of her creation. - Bake chicken breasts 45 min. @ 300* - Top breast with a few slices of avocado, a slice of tomato & harvarti cheese - Put under the broiler until the cheese melts Frick-a-fied I choke on even the most moist Chicken breast, so I use a boneless skinless chicken thigh
I make myself a tiny side salad if eating it for dinner, but at lunch this is a meal. Either way depending on the size of the ckn I may not even finish it, though thighs are generally smaller than breasts. Fitness Pal Nutrition Facts

This weight loss is only from June 2015 (I had lost another 51 pounds prior to this)
Blog MissionIt has taken me a long time to get to this point, but I feel like God opened the right doors at the right time. My vision for this blog is not only to document and share my journey with those who care, but also to encourage those who may be following in my footsteps. First and foremost though, I want to give all the glory to God & to focus on his plan for me throughout the journey. What you talkin' 'bout?VSG = Vertical Gastric Sleeve Categories
