You're about to see something real ugly, this is a fair warning! Also to any of my workout guru friends, please forgive my workout ignorance ... I did what worked! I have mentioned that the last week or so I have been a little derailed. I have not followed my diet to a T, I have been able to eat more and have moved very little. For the last 3 days I have conscientiously tried to remedy this and have done better with a few cheats along the way however I still felt ooky.... Behold though... today ... Today... miraculously I woke up and drank 8 oz's of water then I had a sliver of baked ham (<30 calories) & got a few things done around the house! Then somewhere out of the blue I filled up a Rt. 44 cup with ice water and started working out. I decided that I would work out the entire time the Chew was on TV. During the show I walked laps around the living room and during commercials I stopped took a drink and did strength training or toe touches or ab. twists or squats. In the end I had walked over 3000 steps for a total of 1.5 miles, did 12 squats, 10 minutes of twisting and toe touching, and 15 minutes worth of lifting. I used candles as weights when I walked and a green bar stool as a kind of barbell. In that time I got sweaty... I felt the burn ... and I consumed 44 oz's of H2O!!! Since working out, I have had a P3 turkey and chedder & cottage cheese for lunch and a handle full of granola for a snack. Plus about 35 oz's of water! I really hope this desire to "work it" stays with me. I think it is exactly what I need!

I find the hard thing is to follow through after the 'new' wears off. It seems about 4 weeks in it gets really old.

This weight loss is only from June 2015 (I had lost another 51 pounds prior to this)
Blog MissionIt has taken me a long time to get to this point, but I feel like God opened the right doors at the right time. My vision for this blog is not only to document and share my journey with those who care, but also to encourage those who may be following in my footsteps. First and foremost though, I want to give all the glory to God & to focus on his plan for me throughout the journey. What you talkin' 'bout?VSG = Vertical Gastric Sleeve Categories
