Everyday is a new page written in this journey 105 "pages" in and I am feeling great! Here's our weekend recap and a little NSV insight. NSV 1, 2, 3! - Shopping for MYSELF at Maurices ... Yes they sell plus sizes but my body shape before never would fit the sizes ... Since I am 55+ pounds down and I was out and about all by myself, I thought I'd just see if they'd fit and this weekend they did!!! Moving up the car seat and Still no tummy rubbing against the wheel!!! Look at that gap!!!!!!! Fireworks show at the ball field sitting in a bag chair - I swore them off after the 2nd one broke last summer (real confidence booster)! This year I sat comfortably and didn't worry about crashing to the ground! This weekend I also had the chance to just hang out with a few people I love/admire/enjoy having in my life! --- Fathers Day celebration with the Pop-ster --- End of the season Summer Ball Party ... at least one boy in that crowd <3's TJ ... oh wait he's mine! --- Fathers Day with "grandpa Rust" and special guest Crew, he stole the show! --- This weekend I got a chance to meet - in person - 2 awesome ladies ... they had the sx in Mx about 9 months before Sunny and I and we heavily rely on their experience! I will not post their names or photographs in case they prefer to remain anonymous but, I had a blast just hanging out and chatting at the Mexican restaurant! I'll just post a couple of selfies from that day in my Mexico inspired shirt! This journey has taught me that life and those in it are worth enjoying! That every day changes and that you are only stuck in a rut as long as you allow yourself to stay there!
The most important thing in life though is to be yourself... unless you can be Batman... if you can be Batman be that!!!

This weight loss is only from June 2015 (I had lost another 51 pounds prior to this)
Blog MissionIt has taken me a long time to get to this point, but I feel like God opened the right doors at the right time. My vision for this blog is not only to document and share my journey with those who care, but also to encourage those who may be following in my footsteps. First and foremost though, I want to give all the glory to God & to focus on his plan for me throughout the journey. What you talkin' 'bout?VSG = Vertical Gastric Sleeve Categories
