Bags are almost completely packed ... plans are in place. the boys and I sit in silence each playing games while 'Cota showers. Ask I run through my mental checklist a million time Jax curls up on the couch next to me and I don't want to move, I need to shower after all these snow days but I know he's growing up fast and I won't get too many more of these! I am also currently equal parts excited, anxious and nervous. There are times when I wonder what the heck am I doing ... then I remember ... it's for them. As I am typing this Jax asked .... "mom why do you have to have the surgery?" -"because it's gone too far I can't do it on own... the SC is a tool..." his response "mom you're not alone! "with tears in his eyes... "I know buddy, boy do I know!" It's so hard keeping a brave face for them! This weight loss is only from June 2015 (I had lost another 51 pounds prior to this)
Blog MissionIt has taken me a long time to get to this point, but I feel like God opened the right doors at the right time. My vision for this blog is not only to document and share my journey with those who care, but also to encourage those who may be following in my footsteps. First and foremost though, I want to give all the glory to God & to focus on his plan for me throughout the journey. What you talkin' 'bout?VSG = Vertical Gastric Sleeve Categories
